Darkroom Contemporary Summer Gala
Darkroom Contemporary Dance Theatre hosts an evening of music, dancing and dining at its Summer Gala on 26 October.
The organisation would like to extend an invitation to friends, audiences, fellow artists and arts organizations to invest towards the future of the South African performing arts industry, by attending its inaugural annual gala dinner.
This elegant gala will be hosted at Youngblood, in celebration of the arts. Gomotsegang Modiselle and Oginga Siwundla from The Hot Skillet will serve an African Contemporary dinner, each course carefully paired with delectable wines from the Goede Hoop wine estate.
Jazz singer Charlette Dickson will be performing, along with Darkroom Contemporary dancers.
At the event, Darkroom Contemporary will launch its new MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMME, a rewards program offering all members access to exclusive benefits and behind the scenes access to Darkroom Contemporary, while contributing to the sustainability and impact of the organisation within the performing arts arena. All new members to sign up on the night will be entered into a lucky draw to win fabulous prizes.
All funds raised through the event will contribute towards the future success of Darkroom Contemporary’s development initiatives.
Tickets are for sale at R425 per person and includes a four course dinner and wine pairing, with all funds raised going towards the NPO’s developmental initiatives. Tickets can be booked individually or a table of 8 for groups or corporate bookings.
