Art should feel alive, bold, and entirely true to who we are. That belief sits at the heart of everything I create.
Before picking up a tufting gun, I spent years working as a professional makeup artist in the film and television industry. That world taught me how colour, light, and texture interact to tell a story and evoke emotion on a deep level. Today, I bring that exact technical background into a very different medium, translating paint-like palettes and dynamic compositions into tactile fibre art.
My work explores a vibrant and contemporary mix of subjects, shifting fluidly between expressive portraits and striking design pieces, while always keeping a foot in the recognisable world. Using tufting as a fine art medium lets me break traditional boundaries, turning soft yarn into rich, textured statements with real presence. Everything I make comes from a place of genuine curiosity and creative joy, and I hope that authentic energy translates off the loom and into your space.
