Enchanted Noir
Enchanted Noir reflects a quiet narrative between presence and place — moments where the subject becomes part of the landscape rather than standing apart from it. This piece was created with my life partner, Annelee, as part of the personal stories we craft purely for the love of art and what we do. These images hold a special place, as they represent the work we create for ourselves — free from brief, driven by passion, and inspired by shared creativity.
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Dewald Daniels is a Cape Town–based commercial photographer and director, specialising in advertising and brand imagery. With nearly two decades in the industry, he began his career in fashion and retail before transitioning into large-scale campaigns and television commercial stills. His work often fuses crafted lighting with cinematic composition, bringing a refined visual identity to the brands and stories he collaborates on.
