In an exciting collaborative effort, the Juliet String Quartet and Luna Duo join forces to present a unique programme of chamber works for two clarinets and string quartet. This eclectic programme showcases two works by local composers - Franco Prinsloo's Stringsongs (featuring Juliet Quartet), and Matthijs van Dijk’s newly composed sextet ‘Dances of Rebirth’. The programme will include further works by Ponchielli and Mendelssohn, celebrating a diversity of styles, colours, atmospheres, and the perfect compatibility of this chamber music setup. Audiences can expect a kaleidoscope of charming melodies, fiery and impressive technical displays, and invigorating foot-stomping tunes and rhythms!
