Youngblood and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire presents the world premiere of Monthati Masebe’s “Trials that Trail” for solo viola
A series of ten short pieces each dedicated to one of the Rivonia Trialists . Young and brilliant South African composer Monthati Masebe wrote these unique and moving works in 2020 amidst the mayhem of the pandemic, commissioned by Louise Lansdown, Head of Strings at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (RBC). Nine violists will share the world premiere performance of this suite.
