We are thrilled to present a unique musical experience featuring the Natasha Otero Trio, as they bring a fresh perspective to the timeless compositions of Piazzolla. Accompanied by the world-renowned Swedish saxophonist, Fredrik Kronkvist, and multitalented pianist Albert Combrink, this performance promises to be a fusion of passion and innovation.

Natasha Otero Trio is set to deliver an unforgettable performance with their unique take on Piazzolla's timeless masterpieces. Their innovative interpretations promise an evening filled with passion, rhythm, and soul-stirring melodies that offer a fresh perspective on Astor Piazzolla’s tangos. The trio plays new arrangements of Piazzolla’s tangos by Alberto Otero specifically arranged for their constellation, ensuring a contemporary and new approach to the renowned music. 

The Natasha Otero Trio has already achieved remarkable success in a short time, culminating in the release of their album in early 2024, promising to leave a lasting impression on all who have the pleasure of experiencing their artistry.

Natasha Otero, born in South Africa and raised in Argentina, Natasha Otero is a vibrant and dynamic cellist who has been making waves in the music industry from her base in Sweden.Natasha began her classical training in Buenos Aires at the Music Conservatoire. Recently, she achieved a significant milestone in her career by debuting as a soloist in a sold-out concert at the Magle Konserthus in Sweden. Having performed on both national and international stages, Natasha has garnered acclaim and accolades, including the prestigious SAMRO Music Study Award, Musicanti Chamber Orchestra Award, and Musicanti Orchestra Award. Beyond her performances, Natasha is also an integral part of The Otero String Quartet, recently collaborating with world-renowned jazz saxophonist Fredrik Kronkvist in his latest project Open Gates.

Fredrik Kronkvist, a world-renowned jazz musician from Sweden, has solidified his position as one of Sweden's greatest talents with a remarkable international career with over 20 albums in his own name with world-class international collaborations. His musical prowess is evident in both his compositions and improvisational skills, captivating audiences with his emotive melodies and powerful sound. Fredrik has recorded albums in New York alongside some of the biggest names in the jazz scene, and he continues to enchant and inspire audiences worldwide with his unparalleled artistry and passion for music whenever he is in the spotlight.

Albert Combrink is a versatile South African pianist who has made a name for himself in a wide range of musical genres with a Master’s Degree in Classical Piano Performance withadditional qualifications in accompaniment, teaching, and performance. Albert has also performed internationally at prestigious venues in Europe and Asia, solidifying his reputation as a world-class pianist and musician.
